This dry point etching is of Stourport bridge which was built in 1870. Stourport was a town built up from the Industrial Revolution. Worcestershire and Birmingham in Warwickshire used to be the industrial capital of the world, producing iron, silver and Kidderminster, near Stourport produced a third of the world’s carpets at one time.
