Ziqi Xu

I work as a full-time editioning printmaker (2022-now). At other times belonging to me, I recreate and reflect on my reality, mostly about my working life – about time, repetition, and pause. I want to see myself clearly in this world. I like touching things with my hands.

I specialise in printmaking and have been granted the Thames Side Print Studio Prize after graduation from Camberwell College of Arts in 2022. In 2024 I had my first solo exhibition at Hausprint London. In my recent works, I make drawings and etchings of myself, my colleagues, and my workplace, to investigate the position of industrial female workers.
