Sidney T Wilson

Sidney Wilson is an artist working across printmaking, drawing, and animation. As a competitive cyclist, his experience of training and injury informs his collagraph prints, where he explores themes of memory and endurance. He compares the physical and emotional challenges of his cycling with the broader highs and lows of life.
Alongside his printmaking practice, Sidney collaborates with his brother Charlie Wilson through the Wilson Brothers Studio. Together they recently created the animated documentary ‘Our Music’ for Derby Museums’ Yaadaañ Archive as part of a National Lottery Heritage Fund-supported project.

Across both print and animation, his work is rooted in storytelling.
