BIOGRAPHY
My work takes notions of time and dissolution, things wearing away. Slowly dissolving, becoming vague and about to become invisible. The way the acid works on the plate can make marks that are almost missing. As if they were there but have worn away. Also in conjunction with very slight use of aquatint and a roll of transparent colour, I try to suggest a things disappearing, though side by side with elements that have solidity and mass. Things that are ready to begin a fading. Of course all this process, and the images are as daft as a brush and tres jolly.
