Suzy Ager

Suzy is a Nottingham based artist working in print and textiles. Her interest is in how birds connect us to the landscape, as characters telling a narrative of our surrounding world, representing tales of both hope and destruction. Hand drawn imagery forms the foundations of her work which Suzy translates into prints to capture character, movement and texture. Composition and colour are often simplified to deliver a sense of calm. Suzy enjoys exploring the exciting array of textures created using collagraph techniques and the expression of handmade marks using drypoint.
