Orla is an East Midlands based printmaker, artist and illustrator, who graduated from Chelsea College of Arts, UAL in 2022. Now based in Banks Milks Derby, Orla likes to make work about iconography, the mundane and the natural, all from a queer and female perspective. Her work around Catholic imagery is due to her background, having been raised Catholic, but now, personally sits outside the confines of religion due to being gay. Her other images depict the mundane and abstract, how there’s beauty in the everyday, and how we can achieve a sense of faith just by merely existing, and observing the natural.
