Mary Parker

Mary Parker has been working for several years on a set of linocuts depicting the historic bottle kilns of Stoke-on-Trent. Her work has evolved from the original primary colour approach into a more responsive palette while retaining a very realistic line – each kiln and oven profile is different, reflecting their different uses. This is the last remaining one at the former Price Kensington teapot factory in Longport, the listed site is gradually being redeveloped and restored.
