Lisa Kavanagh

I begun to make linoprints in 2020 and enjoying that practice begun to explore other print making techniques such as monoprint and ‘kitchen’ lithography. I am an impatient maker and enjoy the quick results that monoprinting can produce. I have been working on layering and sketching outlines that produce almost pastel like effects. This year I have been trying reduction linoprinting for the first time. I am drawn to the natural world, museums and collections and the human form.
