My name is Lesley Brooks, I am a member of the Leicester Print Workshop and the Leicester Society of Artists. I work with two printmaking methods: linocut and etching with aquatint. Both techniques compliment and inform each other in my work. My work is both representational and decorative. Inspired by dwellings and the cultivated space around those buildings, I enjoy arranging shapes of colour and tone to convey a sense of both drama and intimacy.
For this submission, I have chosen 5 linocut prints, inspired by my visits to North Norfolk.
