Kirsty Taylor

Kirsty is a visual printmaker based in Derby and has a background in graphic design. All of her colourful, elegant and detailed prints take inspiration from her love and passion of mother nature, botany, science fiction, folklore and Astral themes. As a deafblind person, Kirsty has an offbeat imagination driven by the way she experiences life and overcomes obstacles, this is often represented in her work. She has an interest in the qualities of mark marking and likes to keep most of her work unique and in small editions, often on paper or cotton fabric. She is skilled in intaglio, relief and screenprinting which has given her an individual voice and helped to create a sense of belonging.
