Karha Wilson is an Illustrator/ Printmaker who has recently graduated with a BA(hons) in Illustration from Staffordshire University. Her favourite medium to work with is lino printing, it is something she has began to develop throughout her journey at University. She enjoys creating images full of texture that have impact, and that can be applied to different things such as: prints, packaging and pottery. She loves going on day trips to find hidden gems to influence and inspire her work, and finishes off her day with a good cup of tea.
Her latest piece exhibited in the Derby Print Open is an animal portrait named ‘Finnley’. The print was influenced by a friendly dog named Finnley, the illustration has inspired a self initiated project of a series of domestic pet prints that can be created and applied in different ways.
