Jill Vigus

Printmaking is my passion. I love the variety of marks that can be created in a multitude of ways. For the last year I have been focused on the Climate Emergency. I became aware that Kangchenjunga, a mountain in the Himalayas, became visible to the people in India for the first time in decades because of the drop in pollution levels during lockdown. Using a layered approach I have created a number of prints and artist books which highlight the hidden and the revealed.
