Jess Silva

Jess Silva is a Brazilian-born artist, currently based in Kent, UK. Having lived in the UK for 15 years, Jess’ artistic journey has been shaped by both the vibrant visual flora and fauna sounds of her native Brazil and the rich cultural landscape of the English countryside.

She learned the foundations of printing techniques while studying Fashion Textiles Print at UAL, before personally transitioning her work into fine art territory. Jess’ work is characterised by its delicate and intricate style, often balancing elements of nature, emotion, and nostalgia. Her primary inspiration stems from personal memories and experiences lived amongst flora. Jess’ artistic practice spans multiple printmaking techniques, with a constant exploration of new methods and mediums.

Jess’ dedication to the print world, combined with her ever-evolving practice, makes her an exciting artist to watch as she continues to explore the intersections of emotion, nature, and printmaking.
