Emily Pallett

PRINTMAKER PROFILE

BIOGRAPHY

Emily Pallett is a contemporary artist who predominantly works with printmaking focusing on language, communication and social/cultural issues. Print is important within her practice because of the tactile and analogue qualities of the process in relation to her interest in humankinds’ relationship with the digital. She often features text of a monochrome nature in her work and also likes to explore the use of stitching due to her interest in book binding and artist books. Emily studied Fine Art and the University of Derby and is an Art Technician at Derby College.
