Printmaking is my focus and my passion. In my work I use sinister imagery to explore the darker side of the human experience. Through enigmatic compositions there is an implied narrative which remains at the edge of consciousness. In this series of intaglio prints, I explore the myth of Persephone through a feminist prism. I give Persephone an air of fear to communicate the male manipulation not expressed in the myth itself.
