PRINTMAKER PROFILE
BIOGRAPHY
My work is deeply inspired by the natural world and a strong sense of place. Through painting, printmaking, and other creative processes, I explore themes of migration, heritage, and personal transformation. I view my creative practise as a journey of experimentation —constantly evolving, where I seek connection to a place, a memory, or even a feeling. This act of creation often becomes a way to untangle emotions and reflect on how we process complex experiences.
I believe making is a form of art in itself. I’m drawn to how creativity, coupled with our connection to nature, helps us navigate and hold complex emotions. The natural world raises questions that allow new perspectives and solutions to emerge. My work ranges from emotionally charged to detached observations, allowing space for the viewer’s own interpretations. I’m fascinated by how others engage with my pieces, finding meaning that resonates with their own lives. In this way, art becomes a shared experience, a reflection of our collective emotional landscapes.
I’ve come back to my art making full-time now after a career working with people managing change in their lives and work. The two are flowing together now.
