Recipient of Arts Council and Northern Arts financial awards for Fine Art Senior Lecturer and Course Leader in Higher Education. Leader of theory and studio practise units across Fine Art, Photography and Documentary International conferences devised for a major UK art gallery: Evil (1998); Obscene Powers (2000) – published as special issue of the journal Third Text, No.51, Summer 2000.

Present: full-time practitioner: Painting, Printmaking, Photography, Ceramics Studio: North Yorkshire. Current Work: Informed by Krauss’s & Bois’s writings on Bataille’s notion of the informe and the links between these and Ehrenzweig’s construal of syncretism and the poemagogic.
