Jenni Stone

I am Jenni from Jenni Stone Designs. I am an artist/designer and printmaker. I live and work in Lichfield, Staffordshire. I really enjoy the textures and patterns I can create by screen printing to create multiple prints, using a range of techniques including mono printing.

I am inspired by British nature, drawing and observing wildflowers, foliage and insects and birds. I am drawn to colour, in particular seasons and times of day to create the different colour palettes.

I sketch out my ideas and like to draw outside or from photos as a starting point. My Thistle and Flora screen print I play with texture and pattern using a range of art materials, printing with leaves and using a range of drawing tools to create the thistles on the final layer.
