Christopher Noel

Chris uses printmaking to capture the rhythm, texture and feeling of familiar objects and places, with a particular focus on the landscape of the Chiltern hills, which are a constant source of inspiration. He specializes in reduction linocut prints, building up layers of ink to bring structure and colour, light and shade. He also experiments with Tetrapak printing, using delicate mark making on waste food and drink cartons to crease impactful intaglio prints.
