PRINTMAKER PROFILE

BIOGRAPHY

I studied painting at Camberwell College of Arts and graduated in 2019, since then I have my own little studio and I make lino prints and more recently I have started making etchings.

In my own work I am interested in themes of nostalgia, memory, storytelling and intimacy. It doesn’t always have to be romantic but to me these moments are so precious and there is something I find so beautiful and powerful in these moments that can seem so small like holding hands or a hug.

My drawings and characters come from my own memories, the people I see around me, and the stories I read and hear. I’m also interested in how our most precious memories change in our minds and are not quite real. These stories in our memory change and adapt through time, external references and our current situations, yet they hold so much weight and value to us.
